Act One Productions are a non-profit organisation based in Wirral Merseyside. We are a family orientated group in a relaxed family atmosphere. The heart and soul of the group were part of Double Act Productions which was established in 1999. We are based at the Little Theatre Birkenhead, the home of the Carlton Players. We perform two shows a year at The Little Theatre, a Panto at Christmas and a Variety Show around April/May.

Every year we support a different charity. Over the past two years we have supported The Alzheimer's Society and the Jellybean Appeal based at Arrowe Park Hospital. The main objectives of Act One Productions are to promote the enjoyment of members and audiences through amateur theatrical activities, to encourage and develop talent within the Wirral area and to become individual by using original material. We do not teach drama or stage craft and we do not cater to the ego's of prima donna's, in Act One Productions everyone is equal. We are lucky to have so many great people involved in our group and behind the scenes who have given their time voluntarily over the years to support us. We owe our past and future success to them
